About the HD Awards
The most prestigious awards for the hospitality industry, the annual HD Awards, presented by Hospitality Designmagazine, recognizes some of the best and most innovative achievements in both project and product design around the globe.
The 18th annual HD Awards will be held on June 7th, 2022 at Cipriani South Street in New York.
The ceremony also honors Hotelier of the Year and Designer of the Year, chosen by HD’s editorial team. The 2021 Hotelier of the Year was Ave Bradleyof Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, and AvroKOwas recognized as the Design Firm of the Year. The Hospitality Diversity Action Council (HDAC) also fêted the winner of its inaugural Awards of Excellence: Dyonne Fashina, founder of Denizens of Design.
Additionally, West Elm and HDpartner on the HD/West Elm Student Product Design Competition. Now in its fourth year, the contest tasks students, and those out of school for up to a year, with designing a product targeting the hospitality industry that will be produced by West Elm.
