2021 5th American International Innovation Design Award
Introduction
The 2021 Fifth American AIIDA International Innovation Design Award is jointly orga- nized by the Los Angeles City Hall, the Los Angeles Bureau of Commerce, the US-China Trade and Culture Promotion Associationand China International Interior Design Net- work.
With the continuous development of cultural exchanges between China and the United States, it will promote more exchanges and cooperation between China and the United States in the field of creative design. As the most internationally influential industry platform in China’s interior design industry, China International Interior Design Network organizes various international industry exchanges, inspections, exhi- bitions and other activities around the world to promote mutual exchanges and coop- eration between countries around the world and China in the cultural and creative in- dustries . And China International Interior Design Network provides a broader platform for the exchange and development of the global creative design industry.
The American AIIDA International Innovation Design Award is for the world’s most in- ternationally renowned and influential designers, design institutions, outstanding young and middle-aged designers, etc., soliciting the most innovative and creative design works from all countries in the world. Through the AIIDA International Innova- tion Design Award, the world will pay attention to the most cutting-edge design culture and innovative design concepts, accelerate the global development of cultural creativ- ity and design industry, and realize diversified international exchanges and coopera- tion in the design industry.
Organisation
The US AIIDA International Innovative Design Awards Ceremony will be held in Los Angeles in 2022. At that time, US government officials, Chinese ambassadors and cul- tural counselors in the US , leading guests from the U.S. Bureau of Commerce, the U.S.-China Business Council, and the International Association of Design Industry Or- ganizations will be invited to attended the awards ceremony, they will present awards to award-winning designers and design agencies who have won the AIIDA Internation- al Innovation Design Award.

【Note: Various awards will be determined according to the final evaluation results of the international jury. According to the comprehensive evaluation of the jury, the gold and silver awards may be vacant or tied. The original right of design works or products declared for professional awards belongs to the applicant (individual or enterprise). If there is an infringement matter that has nothing to do with the organizing committee, the applicant (individual or enterprise) shall bear a series of legal matters arising from the related infringement. The organizing committee has the final right of interpretation.】
Application process
1.All applicants need to fill out the application form for AIIDA 2021, prepare the works and their explanations in English (1000 words maximum), and send them to the official email of the organizing
Committee. After submitting the application materials, all participants will pay the registration fee of $200 USD/each award to the designated account of the organizing committee. After the organizing committee receives the application form and the documents of the participating works, and confirms the receipt of the registration fee, the organizing committee will review the submitted works materi- als. If relevant information supplement is needed, the Organizing Committee will notify the applicants in time, and the application form and related work descriptions must be in both Chinese and English. If the organizing committee is responsible for translating the relevant application materials, an additional translation fee of $60/each setwill be charged.
The organizing committee will determine the results of the preliminary review within 5 working days after receiving the application for participation, and will send the award shortlisted notice in the form of e-mail. The submitted works pass the preliminary review and receive the shortlisted notice and pay the balance within 3 work- ing days. If the participant delays the payment without notifying the organizing com- mittee, the organizing committee shall abandon the prize, and the paid registration fee shall not be refunded. If the work fails the preliminary review by the International Jury, the registration fee will be refunded in full. If the work passes the preliminary review but does not participate in the final evaluation of the award due to personal reasons,the registration fee paid will not be refunded
