活動緣由

About the International Day of Radiology (IDoR) ：

威廉·康拉德·倫琴 (Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen) 於 1895 年11月8日發現 X 射線。此後，每年的 11 月 8 日被訂為國際放射日。國際放射日主要的目的在提高大眾對放射科醫生和放射技師在醫療保健體系中所扮演的重要角色。在這一天，世界各地的醫學影像/放射學會、放射學專業學會、放射技師學會和相關科學學會都會安排相關的慶祝活動。

2023國際放射線日攝影比賽

The International Day of Radiology is celebrated each year on November 8, the day that Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen discovered the existence of x-rays in 1895. The aim of IDoR is to build greater awareness of the value that radiology contributes to safe patient care, and improving public understanding of the vital role radiologists and radiographers play in the healthcare continuum. Many national medical imaging/radiological societies, radiological subspecialty societies, radiographers’ societies & allied sciences societies from throughout the world will arrange their own activities.

元培醫事科技大學（YUMT）為了慶祝2023年國際放射日（IDoR），除了與各學會共同舉辦線上放射座談會外，亦展開2023 年國際放射攝影日攝影比賽。

The Yuanpei University of Medical Technology (YUMT) is organizing a celebration dedicated to International day of Radiology (IDoR) 2023. In addition to holding the “International Symposium of Cardiac Imaging and Beyond： Celebrating the IDoR”, a photo contest is also one of the hot activities.

誠摯邀請您一同參與今年的 2023 年國際放射攝影日攝影比賽。

We need your participation for this year’s International Day of Radiology 2023 Photo Contest. This is your chance to achieve lasting fame and earn admiring glances from your colleagues.

本次競賽共計有16個獲獎獎項。每件獲獎作品上都將印有作者的名字。此次攝影比賽是向大眾介紹放射學/醫學成像專業以及放射技師/放射技師/放射科醫師的角色的絕好機會。獲獎者將獲得現金獎勵

A total of 16 winners will be chosen.The artworks, each have the winner’s name printed on them, and it’s a great opportunity to inform visitors and patients about our radiology/ medical imaging profession and the role of radiological technologists/ radiographers/ radiologists. The radiological technologists/ radiographers/ radiologists of the chosen photos receive a cash prize

為「慶祝和促進放射學/醫學影像專業」，我們誠摯邀請您提交您的攝影作品並加入我們。

So for 2023 we are asking you to submit your photo artworks and join us for‘celebrating and promoting the radiology/ medical imaging profession’.

參賽資格：

Participation requirements

1. 臺灣大專院校教職員生
   Faculty and students of college level or higher in Taiwan are all welcome.
2. 本校海外姊妹校教職員生
   Faculty and students from our partner schools around the world are all Welcome.
3. 台灣各醫療院所醫師、放射師
   Physicians and radiologists in Taiwan medical institutions are all Welcome

活動期程：

Event schedule

1. 繳件日期：2023年8月20日(上午9：00)至2023年10月18日(下午15：00)。
   Submission deadline： October 18th (Wed), 2023 at 15：00pm.
2. 公告得獎作品：2023年10月30日
   List of winners to be announced on October 30th(Mon), 2023.
3. 頒獎典禮：2023年11月8日下午 14：00
   The award ceremony will be held on November 8th(Wed), 2023 at14：00pm
4. 得獎作品展覽：2023年11月8日至11月30日；展覽地點為元培醫事科技大學光宇藝術中心。
   Exhibition of works Guangyu Art Center to be held from November 8th (Wed) to November 30th (Thu), 2023.

報名及繳件方式：

Entry and submission

1. 填寫google表單進行報名，上傳作品及授權同意書。
   To participate, please register via the google document as shown in the webpage. Complete an authorization statement and submit it along with your work online.

獎勵：獎金及獎狀一紙

Awards ： Prize and certificate

1. 金牌獎取1名，獎金新臺幣6,500元與獎狀一紙
   Gold prize – one person gets NT$6,500 or an equivalent prize and a certificate of award.
2. 銀牌獎取3名，獎金新臺幣4,500元與獎狀一紙
   Silver prize – each person gets NT$4,500 or an equivalent prize and a certificate of award.
3. 銅牌獎取5名，獎金新臺幣3,500元與獎狀一紙
   Bronze prize – each person gets NT$3,500 or an equivalent prize and a certificate of award.
4. 優等獎取7名，獎金新臺幣2,000元與獎狀一紙
   Outstanding prize – each person gets NT$2,000 or an equivalent prize and a certificate of award.

• 獲獎者為台灣人將邀請參加現場頒獎典禮，若無法到場之得獎者以Email寄送電子獎狀
  If the winners are from Taiwan, they will be invited to participate in the award ceremony. If the winners cannot be present, they will send electronic certificates by email
• 若獲獎同學為海外人士，將以Email寄送電子獎狀，獎金將以當日美金匯率換算並扣除所得稅、匯差及手續費後匯出。
  If the award-winning students are overseas, an electronic certificate will be sent by email, and the prize money will be converted from the US dollar exchange rate on the day and remitted after deducting income tax, exchange difference and handling fees.
• 評審可決定獎項從缺或不足額錄取。
  Judges may, in their professional opinion, decide that a prize shall not be given or that there were insufficient qualified entries.
• 得獎作品將會印製展覽。
  Exhibition of award winning works will be held between November 8th, 2023 to November 30th, 2023.
