One Screen winners come from all over the world. For the first time ever, entrants can submit films by region, and compete to be the best in their corner of the globe. Entrants can also add $50.00 USD to any of their other entries to have them considered for a regional award.
GENRE CATEGORIES
submit to one of the genre categories and have your film compete against work of the same genre
FICTION: an original storyline involving a plot and characters
COMEDY: an original storyline in which the main emphasis is on humor
DOCUMENTARY: political, social or historic subject matter in a factual and informative manner
MUSIC VIDEO: promotional video for popular music genres
ANIMATION: an original, animated short film or video sequence
BRANDED CONTENT: a creative fusion of advertising and entertainment
BUDGET UNDER $10,000: films created for a budget under $10,000
MOBILE FILM: video entirely shot on a mobile device
TITLE/END CREDIT SEQUENCES: a video that presents key production and cast members
VFX: films where imagery is created or manipulated outside the context of a live action shot
EXPERIMENTAL: filmmaking that explores alternatives to traditional narratives or methods
VR/AR/MR/: films shot in either 360 video or augmented reality
FOREIGN FILM: films shot and produced outside of the united states
ART DIRECTION/PRODUCTION DESIGN: excellence in the overall visual look and feel
SOUND DESIGN/ORIGINAL SCORE: excellence in use of sound or music
MOVIE POSTER: a poster used to promote and advertise a film
60 SECOND FILMS: films that run with a maximum 1 minute duration
STUDENT: a film created by a student currently enrolled in school

BEST EDITOR: EXCELLENCE IN EDITING
BEST WRITER: EXCELLENCE IN WRITING

BEST ACTOR: EXCELLENCE IN ACTING
EMERGING:
DIRECTOR: DIRECTORS WITH LESS THAN 3 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
WRITER: WRITERS WITH LESS THAN 3 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
CINEMATOGRAPHER: CINEMATOGRAPHER WITH LESS THAN 3 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
2019 JUDGES
RULES
ELIGIBILITY:
1) Films must be no longer than 15 mins in length.
2) International, non-english films must have english subtitles.
3) All entries that contain music must have obtained license for its use.
4) Films must have been produced after November 27th, 2017.
5) Entrants give the One Club authority to use submitted materials for promotional use on their various online properties.
File Specification Requirements: Videos: MOV or MP4 file, 16×9 format
1920×1080 resolution (1280×720 min) H264, less than 250MB
Digital Images: High res JPEG, 10MB max, RGB color mode,
longest side 500px min
