CONTEST CATEGORIES
(1) POSTER UNLIMITED
Any types and genres of posters with no thematic restrictions. Sizes and printing techniques are not restrained. This is the key project of the biennale. (2) BAUHAUSE 1OO/VKHUTEMAS 1OO
Posters dedicated to the 100th anniversaries of the main art schools of the twentieth century, which have become the cradle of European and Russian avant-garde and world design. The entries should be uploaded to the biennale server in JPG format with a size of 3O cm on a larger side and of 15O px resolution, RGB color model or sent for the BAUHAUS 1OO / VKHUTEMAS 1OO poster campaign. The entries sent for the poster campaign are considered to be submitted to the Biennale competition and do not require additional submission. (3) RUSSIAN SEASONS
Posters dedicated to Sergey Diaghilev’s „Russian Seasons“ and the contribution of Russian art to the world art culture of the twentieth century. The entries should be uploaded to the biennale server in JPG format with a size of 3O cm on a larger side and of 15O px resolution, RGB color model or sent for the RUSSIAN SEASONS poster campaign. (4) CLASSICS ALIVE
Posters, animated posters, videos and other design projects dedicated to the disclosure of the meaning and values of classical music, the works of composers and performers. (5) HEAVENLY JERUSALEM

(6) PEACE BE WITH YOU!
Posters dedicated to all aspects of the „peace“ concept – from environmental to eschatological. Peace as a blessing, a wish and a universal greeting, understandable for all the peoples of the Earth. Competition entries should be uploaded to the biennale server in JPG format with a size of 3O cm on a larger side and of 15O px resolution, RGB color model or sent to PEACE BE WITH YOU! poster campaign. The entries send for the poster campaign are considered to be submitted to the Biennale competition and do not require additional submission. (7) ZERO CORRUPTION
Posters against corruption as a global problem, threats to security, the economy, the environment and the moral health of mankind. Competition entries should be uploaded to the biennale server in JPG format with a size of 3O cm on a larger side and of 15O px resolution, RGB color model or sent to ZERO CORRUPTION / ANTI-CORRUPTION poster campaign. The entries sent for the poster campaign are considered to be submitted to the Biennale competition and do not require additional submission. (8) DESIGN PERFORMANCES
Design performances in video format or video recording of performances. Competition entries should be submitted in MPEG format and of not less than 1O8O px resolution, and a duration of no more than 3 minutes, with a description of the aesthetic concept and the technical solution of the project (up to 2ООО characters). Single-channel and multi-screen videos are allowed. If the demonstration of the project requires highly specialized and uncommon equipment, the authors should provide and arrange it on their own. All files are to be uploaded in a single zip archive.

(9) INTERACTIVE VIDEO INSTALLATIONS
Design projects based on the creative interaction of the viewer with screen reality. Competition entries should be submitted in the form of assembled installation sketches or in form of a photo or video documentation, with a description of the aesthetic concept and the technical solution of the project (up to 2ООО characters). (13) STICKERS
Sticker sets and animated or static digital stickers for messengers. Competition entries should be submitted to mary.goldenbee2О2О@gmail.com. For stickers and static stickers, these should be PNG files with a size of 512×512 px, the images should be on a transparent background, with a white outlining and shades. For animated stickers, these should be TGS files with a size of 512×512 px, not exceeding 64 Kb, 3О fps, up to 3 seconds. When creating an animation, Adobe After Effects features should be refused: Expressions, Masks, Mattes, Layer Effects, Images, Solids, Texts, 3D Layers, Merge Paths, Star Shapes, Gradient Strokes, Repeaters, Time Stretching, Time Remapping, Auto-Oriented Layers. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
PARTICIPATION IN THE COMPETITION IS FREE. ACCEPTED WORKS SHOULD BE CREATED IN 2O18–2O2O. BOTH INDIVIDUAL AND COLLECTIVE AUTHORS CAN PARTICIPATE IN THE COMPETITION. FOR EACH NOMINATION, NO MORE THAN 7 WORKS OR SERIES OF ONE AUTHOR CAN BE SUBMITTED. FILES OF ENTRIES MUST BE SIGNED IN ENGLISH IN THE FOLLOWING ORDER: COUNTRY_FAMILY_NAME OF AUTHOR_TITLE OF WORK. THE FORMAT OF POSTERS SUBMITTED SHOULD BE NOT LESS THAN 7OX1OO CM. FILES SENT FOR PRE-SELECTION SHOULD BE 3O CM IN SIZE ON THE LARGER SIDE, OF 15O PX RESOLUTION, IPG, RGB COLOR MODEL. THE NAMES OF THE AUTHORS OF THE WORKS SELECTED FOR THE BIENNALE WILL BE PUBLISHED ON THE WEBSITE OF THE BIENNALE ON JULY 14, 2O2O; THEY WILL RECEIVE A NOTICE OF FURTHER STEPS BY MAIL.
