服飾是踐行禮儀的重要所在，是國家政治和經濟文化的表徵。其獨特的禮儀服飾格局及其表現，不僅關乎大國治理體系，也關乎個體切身修養。為了傳承優秀的中華文化，我們倡導與時俱進的禮服設計觀，旨在豐富當代的服飾文化，拓寬藝術表現和使用的空間，用禮服彰顯社會物質文明和精神文明的高度，提升人們對民族文化的自信，促進地方文化創意產業的發展，增強國際間服飾文化的友好交往，完善服飾研究和專業人才培育的大環境。經研究決定，今年將在線上舉辦2021年第五屆“敦禮為衣——柯橋·中國國際禮服設計大賽暨中國國際禮服文化論壇”。

Clothing is an important part of practicing etiquette and a symbol of national politics, economy, and culture. Its unique formal attire pattern and performance are related to the governance system of a large country and the personal cultivation of individuals. In order to inherit the excellent Chinese culture, we advocate the formal attire design concept of keeping pace with the times, which aims to enrich the contemporary clothing culture, broaden the space for artistic expression and use, highlight the height of social material civilization and spiritual civilization with clothing, enhance people’s confidence in national culture, promote the development of local cultural and creative industries, and enhance the friendly exchanges of international clothing culture, improve the environment for clothing research and professional talent cultivation. After research, it is decided that the 2021敦禮為衣Rites as Clothes: the 5th Keqiao China International Formal Attire Design Competition and China International Formal Attire Culture Forum will be held online this year.

（一）參賽類別、要求和形式Category, requirements, and form of competition

1、設計參賽類別包括下列三大項 The design competition categories include the following three items：

（1） 迎亞運禮服服飾設計Formal attire design for Asian Games：

以“迎亞運禮服服飾設計”為主題，做符合46個參賽國家和地區文化特點的禮服服飾設計，內容包括衣料紋樣設計、款式設計和服飾品的一體化設計。參加設計比賽者首先可以選擇1至2個參賽國家或地區，對其文化特點進行瞭解和分析後展開符合命題要求和內容的設計，作品富有美感和親和力。

以設計方案的形式參加比賽的作品數量不少於5款（禮服面料紋樣設計、禮服款式設計和一些必要的服飾品設計）。

With the theme of “Formal attire design for Asian Games”, clothing design is in line with the cultural characteristics of 46 participating countries and regions, including clothing pattern design, style design, and integrated design of clothing accessories. Participants in the design competition can first choose one or two participating countries or regions, understand and analyze their cultural characteristics, and then carry out the design that meets the proposition requirements and content. The works need to be full of beauty and affinity.

The number of works participating in the competition in the form of a design scheme shall not be less than 5 (formal attire fabric pattern design, formal attire style design, and some necessary clothing accessories design).

（2）婚禮服設計 Wedding attire design：

在現今的婚禮上，我們常見一對新人既穿白色婚紗，也會著民族風格的婚禮服。參賽者既可以選擇設計具有民族風格的婚禮服或白色婚紗做設計，也可以兩種兼而有之，要求作品富有藝術感染力和時尚氣息。

以設計方案的形式參加比賽的作品數量不少於5款（新娘、新郎和伴娘的禮服等）。

In today’s wedding, we often see a couple wearing both white wedding attire and national-style wedding clothes. Contestants can choose to design wedding clothing or white wedding clothing with national-style, or both. Their works are required to be artistic and fashionable.

The number of works participating in the competition in the form of a design scheme shall not be less than 5 (attire of the bride, groom, and bridesmaid, etc.).

（3）禮服面料設計Formal attire fabric design：

參賽者可以選擇不同工藝基礎的禮服面料的紋樣設計。如：印花面料紋樣設計、繡花面料紋樣設計或針織面料紋樣設計等。紋樣的組織結構可以是單獨紋樣、適合紋樣、連續紋樣，須配設計主題思想文字和服用效果圖的表達。

以設計方案的形式參加比賽的面料設計作品數量不少於2幅和3款服用效果圖。

Contestants can choose the pattern design of formal attire fabrics based on different processes. Such as printed fabric pattern design, embroidered fabric pattern design or knitted fabric pattern design, etc. The organizational structure of patterns can be individual patterns, suitable patterns, and continuous patterns, which must be accompanied by the expression of design theme words and taking effect drawings.

The number of fabric design works participating in the competition in the form of a design scheme shall not be less than 2 and 3 wearing effect drawings.

（1）設計方案參賽方式The requirements of design scheme competition mode：

表達系列設計作品效果圖，不少於5款。要求圖文並茂地說明設計的靈感來源，設計所針對的人群、使用目的和場合，服裝的材料、色彩和紋飾內容及工藝特點等，需配款式結構圖、面料小樣和造型設計的演化過程，服裝紋飾可配合款式結構圖示意，文字說明500字之內。

需交電子文件，效果圖A3尺寸（張數不限），350dpi。面料紋樣設計稿為單位尺寸，350dpi。

There are no less than 5 styles of expression series design works. It is required to explain the source of inspiration of the design, the crowd, purpose, and occasion of the design, the content and process characteristics of formal attire materials, colors and patterns, and the evolution process of style structure diagram, fabric sample, and modeling design. The formal attire patterns can be matched with the schematic diagram of the style structure diagram, and the text description is within 500 words.

Electronic documents shall be submitted, and the size of the effect drawing should be A3 size (unlimited number of sheets), 350dpi. The design draft of fabric pattern is unit size, 350dpi.

（2）設計實物參賽方式The requirements of the design in kind competition mode：

設計實物作品1-3套/件，附設計方案，要求圖文並茂地說明設計的定位、靈感來源、主題思想、造型的演化過程等，文字說明500字之內。

需交服裝展示視頻（時長3分鐘之內，格式編碼：MP4、H.264編碼，分辨率1280*720（720P）大小容量100M之內）。同時，須交不少於七張的作品照片，電子文件A3尺寸，350dpi。

Design 1-3 sets/pieces of physical works, with design scheme attached. It is required to explain the positioning, source of inspiration, theme, evolution process of modeling, etc. of the design with pictures and texts, and the text description is within 500 words.

Clothing display video needs to be submitted (within 3 minutes, format coding: MP4, H.264 coding, resolution 1280 * 720 (720p), size and capacity within 100m). At the same time, no less than seven photos of the work shall be submitted, and the electronic file shall be A3 size and 350dpi.

2、專業組 Professional group

（1） 設計方案參賽方式The requirements of design scheme competition mode：

表達系列設計作品效果圖不少於5套/件，要求圖文並茂地說明設計的靈感來源，設計所針對的人群、使用目的和場合，服裝的材料、色彩和紋飾內容及工藝特點等，需配款式結構圖、面料小樣和造型設計的演化過程，服裝紋飾可配合款式結構圖示意，文字說明500字之內。

需交電子文件，A3尺寸（張數不限），350dpi。面料紋樣設計稿為實際面料需要的單位尺寸，服用效果圖A3尺寸（張數不限），350dpi。

There shall be no less than 5 sets/pieces of effect drawings expressing the series of design works. It is required to explain the source of inspiration of the design, the people targeted by the design, purpose, and occasion of use, clothing materials, colors, patterns, contents, and process characteristics, etc. it is necessary to match the style structure diagram, fabric samples and the evolution process of modeling design. Clothing patterns can be matched with the style structure diagram; the text description is within 500 words.

Electronic documents should be submitted, A3 size (unlimited number of sheets), 350dpi. The design draft of fabric pattern is the unit size required by the actual fabric. The size of wearing effect drawing is A3 (unlimited number of sheets), 350dpi.

（2） 設計實物參賽方式The requirements of the design in kind competition mode：

設計實物作品2-5套/件，須附設計方案，設計主題說明文字500之內，說明設計的目的、材料、方法，紋飾內容和涵義等。

需交服裝展示視頻（時長3分鐘之內，格式編碼：MP4、H.264編碼，分辨率1280*720（720P）大小容量100M之內），交不少於七張作品照片，電子文件A3尺寸，350dpi。

2-5 sets/pieces of physical design works must be attached with the design scheme, and the design theme description text shall be within 500, indicating the purpose, materials, methods, decorative content, and meaning of the design.

In recognition of the instructors who provided excellent award-winning works for the competition and actively promoted the improvement of the overall level of creative design of Chinese clothing’s, an “excellent instructor Award” was specially set up.

2021敦禮為衣Rites as Clothes: the 5th Keqiao`China International Formal Attire Design Competition–Several Cultural Contribution Awards of Special Guest Work Exhibition(certificate + trophy)

The works participating in the special exhibition mainly include excellent works of collections, “excellent works of inheritors of intangible cultural heritage”, fashion clothing design works of outstanding designers, art clothing design works, brand clothing products, and other aspects. They are leading, and cutting-edge, and a “Cultural Contribution Award” is specially set up.

The collected works will be selected from the special invitations, self-recommendation, and recommendation.

參加論壇的嘉賓有禮服文化史研究學者、教師、收藏家、設計師、品牌企業家、互聯網運營家和文化傳媒學者等多層面的傑出人士。

發言人從特邀、自薦和推薦中選取，名額7至9人，每人發言時間約20分鐘。

The guests attending the forum included scholars in the history of clothing culture, teachers, collectors, designers, brand entrepreneurs, Internet operators and cultural media scholars.

Speakers are selected from special guests, self-recommendation, and recommendations. There are 7 to 9 people, and each person will speak for about 20 minutes.

主辦方擁有參賽作品和特邀參展作品的權利和巡迴展覽的申報權。主辦方須負責本次活動的順利開展，確保參展作品的審核。組委會特別聲明：

報名參賽作品須為作者的原創設計作品，並且為首次發布的作品。若發現其為剽竊他人之作，將取消參賽資格。

The organizer has the right to participate in the works and specially invited works, and the right to declare the itinerant exhibition. The organizer shall be responsible for the smooth development of this activity and ensure the review of the works participating in the exhibition.
