2023 The LensCulture Art Photography Awards

The LensCulture Art Photography Awardsaim to reward talented visual artists around the world who are using photographic processes and images to express their creative ideas.

DEADLINE: WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 14, 2022

Show us how you’re pushing the photographic medium, experimenting with different techniques or creative approaches to bring your ideas to life. There are no limitsor definitions for this award, we’re hoping to see all kinds of submissions from conceptual work and prints made for gallery walls, to images made from alternative processes, to totally new forms and formats that speak to our digital age. What matters is your unique creative vision and your skills in translating that vision into exceptional and original work.

Read on for information about our expert international jury and awards. Winners will be included in an exhibition in London during Photo London, receive extensive media coverage, projection at international photography festivals, cash prizes and more.

Exhibition at Photo London 2023!

Winning photographers will be exhibited at the fabulous Somerset House in London during Photo London, the premiere international photo fair that brings together hundreds of galleries, publishers and collectors, as well as an ambitious program of exhibitions, conversations, artist book signings and curated fair events.

An opening reception will be held for LensCulture artists, invited media, photo editors and industry insiders for a night of art appreciation and networking during the UK’s largest international art fair dedicated to photography.

When you enter this award, your work will be immediately reviewed by our editors. Selected submissions will be featured in our Competition Gallery and published across all of our online channels, reaching an international audience of three million. (For example, more than 562 early entries were selected and featured during our 2022 Art Photography Awards, and more than 200 of those were promoted via LensCulture’s Instagram and Facebook platforms, garnering more than 430,000 likes and comments.)
