Brief

Imagine a sustainable hospitality concept with its Country Club in Provence, South of France.
This idea competition is for everyone, designers, architects, students…

THE SITE

The space that hosts the project is currently a 9 holes golf course. Our wish is to turn it into a verdant, fragrant garden where rosemary and thyme give golfers and non-golfers alike an opportunity to nourish their body and mind. Creating this mesmerizing atmosphere will be made possible by planting one million rosemarie and thyme bushes around the golf area.

OUR VISION

Our goal is to create an eco-sustainable place that gives our guests the opportunity to connect with their deeper selves, and with nature. We believe we can achieve our mission by creating spaces that combine elements of architecture, landscape design, and nature into holistic, authentic experiences. In this way, we hope to elevate the senses and nourish the spirit of our guests.

Rules

Expected deliverables:

A1 board, vertical or horizontal layout, PDF format x 3 which must contain:

– A1.1. Design concept / Conceptual idea / Site study

– A1.2. Graphic framework aimed to illustrate the project (i.e plans, facades, cross sections). Choosing what to display and the relative scale is up to the competitor’s choice.

– A1.3. 3D views (i.e renderings, pictures, hand sketches…)

The language for the contest, regulations and your project is English.

Evaluation criteria:

Projects will be evaluated according to three primary criteria:
– Originality
– Quality of visual production
– Relevance to the stated purpose/goals of the project.

Prizes

• 1st prize: 10’000€
• 2nd prize: 5’000€
• 3rd prize: 3’000€
• 4th prize: 1’000€
• 5th prize: 1’000€

All the awarded projects will be transmitted to architectural magazines and websites. Prizes are single payments per team, regardless of the number of members.

競賽背景  Competition background 

本次競賽的主辦地目前是一個9洞高爾夫球場。主辦方的願望是將其變成一個翠綠而芬芳的花園，其中的迷迭香和百里香在這裡為高爾夫球手和非高爾夫球手提供滋養身心的環境。通過在高爾夫球場周圍種植一百萬個玫瑰果和百里香灌木叢，營造出了這種迷人的氛圍。

競賽的目標是創建一個生態可持續發展的場所，讓來此的客人有機會與更深層次的自我和自然聯繫。主辦方堅信可以通過創造建築、景觀設計和自然元素融合的整體和真實體驗的空間來實現這一目標，也希望通過這種方式，提升客人的感官和精神體驗。

競賽內容 Competition content

本次競賽內容是為法國南部普羅旺斯鄉村俱樂部提供一個可持續酒店概念設計提案。評委將對提交的設計提案的三個方面進行考量：創意；成果表達製作的質量；與項目既定目標的關聯性。
