2021台北设计奖开始征集臺北市政府規劃辦理「臺北設計獎」，以「Design for Adaptive City：為不斷提昇的城市而設計」之精神，不斷的向全世界熱愛創意、設計的人士形塑「設計臺北、夢想臺北」的城市品牌意象，並公開徵選傑出國際設計作品，打造臺北市成為創意設計匯流平台，藉以發掘具商機潛力的創意設計、鼓勵社會設計意涵，主張設計使人類生活更美好更便利。
臺北市政府致力於將臺北市打造成為一座具有設計遠見的城市，更鼓勵設計師們反思設計的意義，把設計當成解決問題的工具，透過設計思維，解決社會大眾以及社會或城市必須面對的問題，進一步展現臺北設計獎「為不斷提升的城市而設計」之精神。

Taipei International Design Award 2021The Taipei International Design Award (TIDA) 2021 is now open for submissions.
The competition is an open call for outstanding international designs and an effort to shape Taipei into a convergence platform for creative designs, thereby discovering creative designs with business potential, and to encourage practices of social design in advocacy that design as a medium can bring humans a better, more pleasant and convenient life.
This year's total prize money is up to NT$3.8 million, including NT$600K for the grand prize – Taipei City Mayor Award.
The deadline for submissions is August 10, 2021.

2021台北设计奖Taipei International Design Award参赛资格：
全世界对设计有兴趣者皆可参赛。不限个人或团体。团体参赛以5人为限，以其中1人为代表人完成报名
参赛作品须为作者原创，且为2019年5月10日以后创作完成之作品
参赛类别:
工业设计类：
工业设计类指可供量产之工业产品设计，包含一般与数位应用、交通工具设计、设备仪器设计、生活及家居用品设计、资通讯及家电产品设计及其他等。
视觉传达设计类：
视觉传达设计类包含数位平面创作、识别设计、海报设计、包装设计及印刷设计等。
公共空间设计类：
提供公众使用的开放空间、政府建筑及部分可公开共享的私人建筑等。
