如何參賽 HOW TO ENTER

1. 加入「2017 國家地理全球攝影大賽」官網會員後，始得上傳作品參賽。
2. 參賽者之參賽總件數限制：
   • 徵件截止當日(9/30)，年滿20歲參賽者，可參加人物(People)、地方(Places)、自然(Nature)、手機(Mobile Photography)各一張，以及圖片故事(Photo Essay)一組，圖片故事限上傳5~10張作品。
   • 徵件截止當日(9/30)，未滿20歲參賽者，可參加青少年組(Youth)及手機(Mobile) ，青少年組(Youth)上傳作品至多3張、無主題類別限制，手機(Mobile) 上傳作品限一張。
   • 投稿手機組的參賽者，若作品是以Samsung Galaxy S8｜S8+手機所拍攝，另有機會獲得Samsung Galaxy S8|S8+破框獎，請於上傳作品時勾選「以Samsung Galaxy S8｜S8+手機拍攝」
3. 完成報名：
   • 參賽者須於作品上傳後繳交報名費，由主辦單位確認繳費後（約1-3個工作天），作品顯示於攝影大賽官網後，即為完成參賽。
   • 參賽作品資料可逕行至會員專區進行維護。

2. Number of entries
   • Entrants who are 20 or older by September 30th, 2017 can submit four works at most, including one photo to each category (People, Places, Nature, Mobile Photography) and a set of Photo Essay with five to ten photos.
   • Entrants who are under 20 by September 30th, 2017 can join the Youth group, uploading three photos at most without any category restriction; and join Mobile Photography, uploading one photo only of low-light photography.
3. Completing the entering process
   • You must pay the entry fee after uploading your photos. The entering process is not completed until the entry fee NT$250 is paid.
   • You may make changes to your entry info on your member’s page at the Contest’s official website.

作品規範 Submission Guidelines

• 參賽作品須為數位檔案，不限定使用數位相機所攝之相片，亦接受負片、幻燈片、沖印相片之數位掃描檔；手機組參賽作品須以手機或平板之攝影設備拍攝。所有檔案大小必須在20MB以下，須為JPEG或JPG格式，至少1,600個像素寬（水平照片），或1,600個像素高（垂直照片）。
• 參賽者「務必保留未經手機內建軟體後製（如效果、濾鏡）或其他任何影像處理軟體後製過的原始數位檔案」，以保障自身參賽權益，因主辦單位審理有後製爭議的作品時，若無法提供原始檔檢視，有權取消其資格。
• 參賽之作品須於參賽日往回算起兩年內拍攝（2015/9/30~2017/9/30期間內），且曾獲得任何公開賽事之作品，包含「國家地理全球攝影大賽」，或「國家地理旅行者攝影大賽」任何獎項之作品不得參賽。
• 參賽者僅能對其作品進行少量色彩加深（burning）、色彩加亮（dodging）、或色彩校正（color correction）等修改，適度裁切亦在可接受範圍。關於數位校正之細節規範，請參考「攝影競賽綱要」一節。任何在本規範中（包含攝影競賽綱要）未提及之相片修改方式，一律禁止。若經查覺，該作品將喪失得獎資格。
• 在未違反任何法令的情況下，參賽照片內可以包含雕塑、雕像、繪畫，或其他種類之藝術作品；涉及此類主題之參賽者必須提供如本競賽細則「授權」一節中所描述之藝術品原作者授權文件。在參賽相片涉及他人作品的情況下，該他人作品必須視為周遭環境中的物件之一進行拍攝，不得以全畫面特寫的方式呈現。
• 參賽作品須全為參賽者本人之獨自創作。在參賽之同時，即代表參賽者同意且未違反與第三者之協議、保證參賽作品為其所原創，未侵犯其他任何個人或實體之版權、商標權、人格權、隱私／公開權、以及智慧財產權，且未有第三者對該參賽作品具備任何權利、所有權、主張擁有或相關利益，亦未有違反其他法令情事。
• 參賽作品不得含有任何具猥褻、挑釁、毀謗、情色、暴力、種族歧視性或其他任何引人厭惡或不合宜之內容，主辦單位得自行判斷並排除該作品之參賽資格。
• 參賽作品須附完整標題，能充分傳達拍攝照片時之情境。偽造或誤導照片內容之來源將導致喪失參賽資格。
• 主辦單位不接受含有任何浮水印的參賽作品。若參賽者未能於主辦單位提出要求後十天內自行更新無浮水印的作品，該作品參賽將被取消參賽資格。
• 主辦單位保留一切檢驗原始作品／來源素材以確認其符合參賽規則的權利。
• 本辦法未盡事宜，悉依細則及獎項說明之內容辦理，如相關規定與說明之中文與英文不一致，以中文為準。主辦單位保留解釋、修改及補充本參賽辦法、細則及獎項說明內容之權利。

• Photographs must be in digital format. The photograph need not be taken with a digital camera; scans of negatives, transparencies, or photographic prints are acceptable. All digital files must be 20 megabytes or smaller, must be in JPEG or JPG format, and must be at least 1,600 pixels wide (if a horizontal image) or 1,600 pixels tall (if a vertical image). Mobile photographs are exempt from this size requirement, but must be submitted at their highest resolution upon request.
• Finalists will be asked to submit an original, unedited digital file or an original negative, print or slide. Original negatives, prints or slides will be returned to finalists. The organizer reserves the right to disqualify incomplete entries and/or contestants who are unable to submit, upon request, a high-resolution photograph.
• Photographs must have been taken within two (2) years before the deadline of the entry period, and may not previously have won an award in the National Geographic Photo Contest, or the National Geographic Traveler Photo Contest.
• Only minor burning, dodging and/or color correction is acceptable, as is cropping. For more information, please read our photo contest guidelines. Any changes to the original Photograph not itemized here (including in the photo contest guidelines) are unacceptable and will render the Photograph ineligible for a prize.
• Photographs that include sculptures, statues, paintings, and other works of art will be accepted as long as they do not violate any applicable laws; provided entrants must be prepared to provide a release form as described in “Release” in the bylaws of the Contest. When photographing the work of others, it must be as an object in its environment and not a full-frame close-up of another person’s art.
• The photograph, in its entirety, must be a single work of original material taken by the Contest entrant. By entering the Contest, entrant represents, acknowledges, and warrants that the submitted photograph is an original work created solely by the entrant, that the photograph does not infringe on the copyrights, trademarks, moral rights, rights of privacy/publicity or intellectual property rights of any person or entity, that the photograph does not breach the contract with any third party and that no other party has any right, title, claim, or interest in the photograph, nor does the photograph violate any applicable law.
• The photograph must not, in the sole and unfettered discretion of the Sponsor, contain obscene, provocative, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate content.
• The caption must be complete and accurate, sufficient to convey the circumstances in which the photograph was taken. Disguising or misrepresenting the origin of your content is cause for disqualification.
• Watermarks are not acceptable. If Sponsor does not receive a non-watermarked version of the entry within ten (10) days following its request, the entry will be disqualified
• The Sponsor reserves the right to the original and the source of the photographs verify it is qualified for this Contest.
• This Rule of Contest is supplemented by Contest Bylaws and the description in the “Contest Prizes” for the Contest. In the event of inconsistency between Chinese and English version of the relevant rules and descriptions, the Chinese version shall prevail. Sponsor reserves the right to interpret, revise, and supplement this Rule of Contest, Contest Bylaws and the description in the “Contest Prizes”.

A message about digital manipulation from the National Geographic magazine:

• 我們希望看到透過您雙眼所見的世界，而非透過Photoshop的工具或預先設置的攝影場景。
• 請不要透過數位修圖手段強化或修改您的照片（除了少數對色彩平衡和銳利度進行之基本調校，以趨真實外）。如果您使用數位修圖手段增加或消去圖上任何物件，請不要遞交您的作品。我們會仔細查看每張照片是否真實，而當我們發現您的作品試圖瞞天過海，我們會立即取消其資格。若您贏得了獎項，我們會向您要求提供照片的原始RAW檔（如果有的話），以便復驗。
• 色彩加亮（dodging）與色彩加深（burning）：
  加亮色（使陰影變亮）或色彩加深（使強光部份變暗）是可接受的，但請不要過份使用。
  您在使用此類數位暗房技巧時的目的應是調校影像之動態色調範圍，使其更接近您所看到的。
• 色彩飽和度調校（color saturation）：
  如同加亮與加深，您的目標應是讓你的照片顯得真實。請避免過度添加或減少色彩飽和度。許多攝影師都會犯過度添加飽和度的毛病，讓影像看來如同卡通片。
• 曝光效果（solarization）、銅版雕刻濾鏡（mezzotint）、雙色調（duotone）模式等：
  非常不建議使用。雖然數位相片處理軟體中有許多改圖「濾鏡」供您選擇，請不要使用它們。它們雖然很炫又很有趣，但在本競賽中它們幫不了你。
• 黑白影像：可接受。
• 裁切：可接受。
• 環景：不接受。
• 高動態範圍影像（high dynamic range image）：不接受。
• 魚眼鏡頭：除非於水底使用，否則不接受。

• Please submit photographs that are un-manipulated and real, and that capture those special moments in time. The world is already full of visual artifice, and we don’t want the National Geographic Photo Contest to add to it. We want to see the world through your eyes, not the tools of Photoshop or setup photography.
• Please do not digitally enhance or alter your photographs (beyond the basics needed to achieve realistic color balance and sharpness). If you have digitally added or removed anything, please don’t submit the shot. We look at every photo to see if it’s authentic, and if we find that yours is in any way deceptive, we’ll disqualify it. In case of the winners, we will ask for the RAW files, if available, to be submitted for review.
• DODGING AND BURNING:
  Dodging (to brighten shadows) or burning (to darken highlights) is fine, but please don’t overdo it. Your goal in using digital darkroom techniques should be to adjust the dynamic tonal range of an image so that it more closely resembles what you saw.
• COLOR SATURATION:
  Just as with dodging and burning, your goal should be to make it real. Please avoid significant over- or under-saturation. A lot of photographers make the mistake of over-saturating color, making their images look cartoonish.
• SOLARIZATION, MEZZOTINT, DUOTONE, ETC.:
  These are discouraged. There are a myriad of alteration “filters” available in digital photo software; please avoid them. They may be cool and fun, but they won’t help you in this contest.
• BLACK-AND-WHITE IMAGES: Acceptable
• CROPPING: Acceptable
• STITCHED PANORAMAS: NOT Acceptable
• HIGH DYNAMIC RANGE (HDR) IMAGES: NOT Acceptable
• FISH-EYE LENSES: Unless used underwater, they are NOT acceptable.

*Each entrant can sign up for just one account. (Taiwanese: Please fill in your ID number: non-Taiwanese: Please fill in your passport number.) The e-mail address you sign up with is your username and cannot be varied. If you register an account by using another person’s identity, use a disposable temporary e-mail address, or your e-mail address becomes invalid during the Contest, which makes you unreachable to the Sponsor, you will be disqualified and should have no objection.

參賽規則 Rules

評審 Judging

本次競賽會依據下列之標準（下稱「評審標準」），從每個主題類別之全體有效參賽作品中選出得獎作品：（１）創意、（２）攝影品質、（３）攝影內容的真實性。
本競賽優勝者將於2017年10月選出，並以電子郵件通知。各評審之評審結果為最終決定，且具絕對約束力。

Based on the following criteria (“Judging Criteria”): (1) Creativity; (2) Photographic quality; (3) genuineness/authenticity of the content. Winners will be chosen on or around October, 2017, and notified by email. Decisions of the judges are final and binding.

授權 Releases

經通知獲獎者，須於通知期限內繳交作品之高畫質原始數位檔案及未曾修改的EXIF資料由主辦單位核實資格，且不得於得獎名單公布後放棄得獎。使用手機設備拍攝則需另外提交拍攝手機的IMEI碼以及手機內的原始作品檔案。若經查證上述資料曾被竄改，主辦單位有權立即取消該獲獎者資格。
若參賽作品中含有任何不屬於參賽者擁有之創作材料或內容，及／或其權利屬於第三方時，及若任何人物出現在作品畫面中時，參賽者應負責取得所有權利相關人之授權與同意聲明，該聲明應允許參賽者之照片以本競賽相關規定（包括但不限於參賽辦法、本細則及獎項說明）（以下合稱「正式規定」）所定的方式進行展示或使用，且足以使本競賽主辦單位及其指定之人（以下合稱「被授權方」）行使以下「授權條款」中所取得之相關權利，且不另要求額外的補償。若照片中之人物年齡未達其居住國家／省分／地區所規定之法定成年人年齡，應確保其父母或法定監護人同意授權。當作品有任何爭議，參賽者應負責提出所需授權證明文件。
參賽者應合法取得被攝影對象的同意進行拍攝，若有任何爭議，參賽者應提供參賽相片中每位被攝影人士所簽署之授權文件始得參賽，授權文件載明授予被授權方得依正式規定之內容，對該參賽者照片進行複製、傳播、展示、及於現今或未來之任何媒體上製作衍生物，以供本競賽與競賽相關宣傳使用，並載明被授權方得以行使以下「授權條款」中所取得相關權利。無法提供上述授權文件者，將可能於競賽中任何時間點喪失資格，所獲獎項亦將由他人遞補。

最後，經主辦單位之要求，每位參賽者須（於主辦者發出要求之7日內）提供參賽相片中涉及之所有私人物業擁有者所簽署之授權文件，授權文件載明授予本競賽被授權方得依正式規定之內容，對該參賽者照片進行複製、傳播、展示、及於現今或未來之任何媒體上製作衍生物，以供本競賽與競賽相關宣傳使用，並載明被授權方得以行使「授權條款」中所取得相關權利。無法提供上述授權文件者，將可能於競賽中任何時間點喪失資格，所獲獎項亦會由他人遞補。
其他與本大賽正式規定相關事項，參賽者須在以下時間內回覆主辦單位發出之要求或通知：（a）若主辦單位以郵寄發出要求，則以郵戳為準發出5個工作天內；（b）若主辦單位以電子郵件發出要求，則須於24小時內回覆。若逾期未回覆，主辦單位得視情況判定參賽者喪失資格。

The winners will be asked to submit a high-resolution file before the official announcement of the final results and must not renounce their awards once the winner’s list is announced. The entrants who attend the Mobile Photography need to provide IMEI or MEID number upon request.
If the photograph contains any material or elements that are not owned by the entrant and/or which are subject to the rights of third parties, and/or if any persons appear in the photograph, the entrant is responsible for obtaining, prior to submission of the photograph, any and all releases and consents necessary to permit the exhibition and use of the photograph in the manner set forth in the rules promulgated for the Contest, including but not limited to the Rules of Contest, this Contest Bylaws and the description provided for the contested prizes (the “Official Rules”) and for Sponsor and any person designated by Sponsor (individually “Authorized Party”; collectively “Authorized Parties”) to exercise its license provided hereunder, without additional compensation. If any person appearing in any photograph is under the age of majority in their state/province/territory of residence the signature of a parent or legal guardian is required on each release.
Upon Sponsor’s request, each entrant must be prepared to provide (within seven (7) calendar days of receipt of Sponsor’s request) a signed release from all persons who appear in the photograph submitted, authorizing the Authorized Parties, in pursuant to Official Rules, to reproduce, distribute, display, and create derivative works of the entry in connection with the Contest and promotion of the Contest, in any media now or hereafter known and authorizing Authorized Parties to exercise its license in the “License” section hereunder. Failure to provide such releases upon request may result in disqualification at any time during the Contest and selection of an alternate winner.
Similarly, upon Sponsor’s request, each entrant must be prepared to provide (within seven (7) calendar days of receipt of Sponsor’s request) a signed written license from the copyright owner of any sculpture, artwork, or other copyrighted material that appears in the photograph entry, authorizing any Authorized Party, in pursuant to Official Rules, to reproduce, distribute, display, and create derivative works of the entry in connection with the Contest and promotion of the Contest, in any media now or hereafter known and authorizing Authorized Parties to exercise its license in the “License” section hereunder. Failure to provide such releases upon request may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
Finally, upon Sponsor’s request, each entrant must be prepared to provide (within seven (7) calendar days of receipt of Sponsor’s request) a signed written license from the owner of any private property included in the photograph entry, authorizing any Authorized Party, in pursuant to Official Rules, to reproduce, distribute, display, and create derivative works of the entry in connection with the Contest and promotion of the Contest, in any media now or hereafter known and authorizing Authorized Parties to exercise its license in the “License” section hereunder. Failure to provide such releases upon request may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
For the purposes of these Official Rules, the entrant will be deemed to be in receipt of Sponsor’s request or notification, (a) in the event that Sponsor sends the request by postal mail, five business days after the request was sent by Sponsor, or (b) in the event that Sponsor sends the request by email, on the day that the email was sent by Sponsor. If the entrant does not timely reply, the entrant may be disqualified at Sponsor’s sole discretion.

授權條款 License

本大賽的參賽者，皆於決定參賽時，同意授予被授權人不可撤銷、具五年且世界各地均適用之權利，即對參賽作品進行複製、傳播、展示、及於現今或未來之任何媒體上製作衍生物（包含對創作者姓名之記載），其包含但不僅限於：公開展示大賽獲獎者之作品；出版選錄本次大賽作品之書刊；於《國家地理》雜誌紙本及數位版本期刊與網站上刊載參賽或得獎作品。參賽者同意被授權人得處置其參賽作品，且不主張任何著作人格權之侵害。被授權人於其網站或刊物上登載之作品，不意味該作品將獲得任何獎項。被授權人以前述方式使用該作品時，將不需再付出額外代價與徵求額外之同意。此外，本大賽的參賽者於參賽時同意授予被授權人無限制之權利，得依其裁量使用參賽者與本大賽相關之文字敘述，以及參賽者之照片或代表物，亦可選擇不行使此項權利。被授權人在進行此類資訊之相關使用時，將不需再付出額外代價與徵求額外之同意。
手機組(Mobile Photography)的得獎者同時亦同意授予台灣三星電子具五年效力使用之權利，即對參賽作品進行複製、傳播、展示、及於現今或未來之任何媒體上製作衍生物（包含對創作者姓名之記載），參賽者同意被授權人得處置其參賽作品，且不主張任何著作人格權之侵害。

By entering the Contest, all entrants grant a worldwide non-exclusive license to Authorized Parties for five years, to reproduce, distribute, display and create derivative works of the entries (along with a name credit), in any media now or hereafter known, including, but not limited to: display at a potential exhibition of winners; publication of a book featuring select entries in the Contest; publication in National Geographic magazine or online highlighting entries or winners of the Contest. Entrants consent to the Sponsor doing or omitting to do any act that would otherwise infringe the entrant’s “moral rights” in their entries. Display or publication of any entry on an Authorized Party’s websites do not indicate the entrant will be selected as a winner. Authorized Parties will not be required to pay any additional consideration or seek any additional approval in connection with such use. Additionally, by entering this Contest, each entrant grants to Authorized Parties the unrestricted right to use all statements made in connection with the Contest, and pictures or likenesses of Contest entrants, or choose not to do so, at their sole discretion. Authorized Parties will not be required to pay any additional consideration or seek any additional approval in connection with such use.
The winners of Mobile Photography agree to grant SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS TAIWAN CO., LTD. the rights to use the photos for five years, that is, to reproduce, distribute, display, and produce derivatives in any media today or in the future and uses of the name of the creator of the record).

本次大賽之參賽者，皆於決定參賽時，同意對於任何因參加本次競賽及競賽相關活動，及因接受、使用、誤用、或持有競賽所得獎勵，而衍生之任何權利主張、損失與傷害，均同意釋出、放棄、豁免主辦單位大石國際文化有限公司與其合作夥伴、附屬單位、子公司、廣告代理商、代理人、及其員工、經理人、董事和代表人所負之責任，並使之不因任何權利主張、損失與傷害而受有任何損害。 主辦單位不為以下情形承擔責任：任何人為操作或檔案傳送時造成的錯誤、疏漏、干擾、資料刪除或遺失、瑕疵或延遲；線路故障；參賽作品或報名資料遭竊、遭毀損或遭到未經授權的存取；或者報名資料遭竄改。主辦單位也不對任何電話網路或線路、電腦網路系統、伺服器與提供商、電腦設備及軟體的問題或技術故障情形負責，且不因任何因網路或網站技術或連線、人為操作失誤，或以上多個因素綜合而導致之電子郵件訊息延遲收發狀況負責，包括因參與本競賽所受、上傳或下載本競賽相關文件所生或與之有關而對參賽者本人與相關人之電腦配備所造成之損害。

By entering this Contest, all entrants agree to release, discharge, exempt and hold harmless Sponsor (Boulder Media Inc.) and its partners, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising agencies, agents and their employees, officers, directors, and representatives from any claims, losses, and damages arising out of their participation in this Contest or any Contest-related activities and the acceptance and use, misuse, or possession of any prize awarded hereunder. Boulder Media Inc. assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion or missing of data, defect, or delay in operation or transmission; communications line failure; theft or destruction of or unauthorized access to Contest entries or entry forms; or alteration of entries or entry forms. Boulder Media Inc. is not responsible for any problems with or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, human errors of any kind, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrants’ or any other persons’ computers related to or resulting from participation, uploading or downloading of any materials related to in this Contest.

條款 Conditions

參賽者同意本競賽將以臺灣之法律管轄，並以臺灣臺北地方法院為任何爭議之第一審管轄法院。在法律許可之範圍內，與本競賽有關或因之所產生之爭議或案件，其訴訟權、禁制令救濟權、或其他司法救濟與其他程序將被排除，且參賽者於參賽同時即同意表達放棄上述之一切權利。本條款可能受到若干限制。參賽作品若為主辦單位認定為非原創，或內容難以辨認、不完整、受到損傷、不符規則、經過變造、仿冒偽作、產製過程有錯誤，或成品是經由詐騙或偷竊而得，即失去參賽資格。
於參賽之時，參賽者即同意下列條款：（a）遵從正式規定；（b）評審在與本競賽相關事務上之決定為最終且具約束效力；（c）若參賽者獲得獎項，主辦單位有權使用其照片、姓名、代表肖像、與／或聲音於任何與本競賽相關之公開或推銷場合，或未來相關之推廣活動，不需另行支付代價或取得同意（除為法律所禁止）。所有獎金相關之稅款、費用、附加費（無論國內外，且包括所得、銷售、進口稅等），一概由得獎者自行負責。若得獎人喪失得獎資格、無法聯繫、未於收到得獎通知十日內（如「獎項說明」之說明）回覆主辦單位，或拒絕收受獎項，該獎項將被追回，主辦單位有權單獨決定是否另擇人選授予獎項。
主辦單位保留驗證任何參賽作品之有效性與原創性，以及驗證參賽者（包含參賽者之身分與住址）之權利，並取消任何未遵守正式規定或以非正當手段干預賽程之參賽者之資格。主辦單位未能及時於比賽各階段執行此權利，不等同放棄該權利之行使。
凡參賽者即視為同意本活動之各項規定，如有未盡事宜，主辦單位得隨時補充說明或變更之，若因不可抗力之因素而無法進行本活動，主辦單位有權決定終止、變更或暫停本活動，並保留活動修改正式規定內容權利。

Entrants agree that this Contest shall be subject to and governed by the laws of Taiwan and the forum for any dispute shall be in the Taiwan Taipei District Courts. To the extent permitted by law, the right to litigate, to seek injunctive relief or to make any other recourse to judicial or any other procedure in case of disputes or claims resulting from or on connection with this Contest are hereby excluded and any entrant expressly waives any and all such rights. Certain restrictions may apply. Entries void if the Sponsor determines the photograph to not be an original, or if the entries are illegible, incomplete, damaged, irregular, altered, counterfeit, produced in error or obtained through fraud or theft.
By entering the Contest, entrants also agree (a) to be bound by these Official Rules; (b) that the decisions of the judges are final and binding with respect to all matters relating to the Contest; and (c) if the entrant wins that Sponsor may use the winning photographs and each winner’s name, photograph, likeness, and/or voice in any publicity or advertising relating to the Contest or future promotions without compensation or approval (except where prohibited by law). All federal, state/provincial/territorial, and local taxes, fees and surcharges and taxes (whether foreign or domestic, and including income, sales, and import taxes) on prizes are the sole responsibility of the prize winners. In the event that the selected winner(s) of any prize is/are ineligible, cannot be traced or does/do not respond within ten (10) days to a winner notification as required by the “Contest Prizes” Rules above, or refuses the prize, the prize will be forfeited and Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may choose whether to award the prize to another entrant.
The Sponsor reserves the right to verify the validity and originality of any entry and/or entrant (including an entrant’s identity and address) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Official Rules or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Sponsor to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
By submitting an entry, each entrant agrees to be bound by the Official Rules. The Sponsor reserves the right to make supplements when needed. If the Contest fails to proceed due to force majeure, the Sponsor also reserves the right to terminate, modify or suspend the Contest and to revise the Official Rules.

取消或中止競賽之權利 Right To Cancel Or Suspend Contest

若本競賽因任何理由而無法依照計畫運行，如電腦病毒之感染擴散、程式漏洞、電腦蠕蟲、木馬程式、阻斷服務攻擊、非正當影響行為、非經許可之干涉、詐欺、技術事故，或其他任何主辦單位無法控制之緣由，對競賽之管理、安全性、公正性、廉潔性、或正常運作產生侵害或影響時，主辦單位有權獨立判斷，淘汰試圖以非正當手段影響賽程之個人參賽者，或取消、終止、修改或中止本次競賽。若主辦單位經決議取消或終止本次競賽，於檔案管理及內部作業所需的範圍外，主辦單位將不再持有參賽作品之任何權利，且將退還所有參賽者之報名費用。

If for any reason the Contest is not capable of running as planned, due to, for example, infection by computer virus, bugs, worms, trojan horses, denial of service attacks, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Boulder Media Inc. that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Contest, Boulder Media Inc. reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual(s) who tamper with the entry process, and/or to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Contest. If Sponsor elects to cancel or terminate the Contest, Sponsor will not retain any rights in the submitted photographs beyond the extent required for file management or internal administration, and will return the fees submitted with each entry.

獎項 Contest Prizes

各主題類別冠軍作品將刊登於《國家地理》雜誌中文版，與台、港、澳、星、馬數十萬讀者分享。
所有得獎者皆可獲得獎狀、由大石國際文化提供《國家地理》中文版紙本雜誌一年份、《驚豔視界：國家地理自然奇景攝影精選》1本。
每個主題類別各選出冠、亞、季軍各1名、佳作3名。手機組選出冠、亞、季軍各1名及Samsung Galaxy S8 | S8+破框獎3名。

The First Place winner’s photograph in each Category will be published in National Geographic magazine (Taiwan) and get admired by several thousand readers in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore and Malaysia.
All winners will receive an award certificate, National Geographic Magazine Taiwan edition (12 issues) and a copy of “National Geographic Greatest Landscapes: Stunning Photographs” Complex Chinese edition.
A First Place Award / a Second Place Award, a Third Place Award and three Merit Award will be selected in each category. A First Place Award / a Second Place Award, a Third Place Award will be selected in Mobile Photography, and three Merit Awards will be selected in Samsung Galaxy S8 | S8+ Unbox Your Phone Award.

註：獎項機票不包含需依規定徵收稅金或某些附加費用。這些稅金或附加費用都是依各國政府或各機場規定附加於機票費用中或以額外加收的方式來徵收。所以除了支付附加於機票上徵收的稅金外，旅客有可能在出發地或目的地的機場被要求支付相關稅金或附加費用。
