Monochrome Photography Awards 2020 – How to Enter

Create your online profile here, upload your images and pay entry fees. Your entry is submitted when entry fees are paid. You will receive an entry confirmation e-mail upon payment of entry fees.

Preparing the files:Photographs must be resized to 1000 pixels on the longest side. They must be saved as JPEG file ( JPG ).

Prepare your files with the following specifications:

– sRGB or Adobe98 colour space, 8-bit,
– longest dimension equals 1000 pixels,
– saved as a JPEG at a setting of 10 ( 100% ) or higher,
– no watermarks / copyright units / logos on images
– only bleed photographs without borders

Naming the files:

The filename must contain your full name, for example:
LastName_FirstName.jpg

Please do not include any characters such as @, $, #, as a part of the file name.

Final Closing Deadline: November 15, 2020

Entry Fees

Professional: 25 USD/Single Entry
Amateur: 20 USD/Single Entry

Winners announcement: January 10, 2021

Monochrome Photography Awards 2020 Prizes List

The winners of the Professional and Amateur sections will receive the titles: Monochrome Photographer of the Year and Monochrome Discovery of the Year and cash prizes.

Monochrome Photography Awards Annual Book

The work of the first, second and third place winners ( together with further entries that the judges feel are worthy of commendation ) from both the professional and amateur categories will be published in the Monochrome Photography Awards annual book. All names of the Honorable Mention winners will also be included in the book.

Overall winner of professional section will receive:

– $2,000 cash prize
– Title: Monochrome Photographer of the Year 2020
– Showcased at the online Winners Gallery
– Your work included in the Monochrome Photography Awards Annual Book.
– Winners logo and certificate

Overall winner of amateur section will receive:

– $1,000 cash prize
