活動緣由

About the International Day of Radiology (IDoR) ：

威廉·康拉德·倫琴 (Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen) 於 1895 年11月8日發現 X 射線。此後，每年的 11 月 8 日被訂為國際放射日。國際放射日主要的目的在提高大眾對放射科醫生和放射技師在醫療保健體系中所扮演的重要角色。在這一天，世界各地的醫學影像/放射學會、放射學專業學會、放射技師學會和相關科學學會都會安排相關的慶祝活動。

2021國際放射線日攝影比賽

The International Day of Radiology is celebrated each year on November 8, the day that Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen discovered the existence of x-rays in 1895. The aim of IDoR is to build greater awareness of the value that radiology contributes to safe patient care, and improving public understanding of the vital role radiologists and radiographers play in the healthcare continuum. Many national medical imaging/radiological societies, radiological subspecialty societies, radiographers’ societies & allied sciences societies from throughout the world will arrange their own activities.

元培醫事科技大學（YUMT）為了慶祝2021年國際放射日（IDoR），除了與各學會共同舉辦線上放射座談會外，亦展開2021 年國際放射攝影日攝影比賽。

The Yuanpei University of Medical Technology (YUMT) is organizing a celebration dedicated to International day of Radiology (IDoR) 2021. In addition to holding the “International Symposium of Cardiac Imaging and Beyond: Celebrating the IDoR”, a photo contest is also one of the hot activities.

誠摯邀請您一同參與今年的 2021 年國際放射攝影日攝影比賽。

We need your participation for this year’s International Day of Radiology 2021 Photo Contest. This is your chance to achieve lasting fame and earn admiring glances from your colleagues.

本次競賽共計有19個獲獎獎項。獲獎人作品將被選入作品集並發送給數百個部門以慶祝2021 年國際放射日。每件獲獎作品上都將印有作者的名字。此次攝影比賽是向大眾介紹放射學/醫學成像專業以及放射技師/放射技師/放射科醫師的角色的絕好機會。獲獎者將獲得現金獎勵及獲獎作品的副本。

A total of 19 winners will be chosen to be included in the photo artwork packs sent to the hundreds of departments that help celebrate International Day of Radiology 2021.

The artworks, each have the winner’s name printed on them, and it’s a great opportunity to inform visitors and patients about our radiology/ medical imaging profession and the role of radiological technologists/ radiographers/ radiologists. The radiological technologists/ radiographers/ radiologists of the chosen photos receive a cash prize and a copy of their winning artwork.

為「慶祝和促進放射學/醫學影像專業」，我們誠摯邀請您提交您的攝影作品並加入我們。

So for 2021 we are asking you to submit your photo artworks and join us for ‘celebrating and promoting the radiology/ medical imaging profession’.

參賽資格：

Participation requirements:

A.臺灣大專院校教職員生

Faculty and students of college level or higher in Taiwan are all welcome.

B.本校海外姊妹校教職員生

Faculty and students from our partner schools around the world are all welcome.

參賽辦法：

使用媒材：

不限，可以相機或手機進行拍攝。

Jpg digital file over 7 megapixels, below 3MB in size

注意事項：

申請人選擇一個主題，提交一張照片參賽。

Applicants may choose the theme and submit only one photo for the contest.

照片整體必須是參賽者拍攝的單一原始材料作品。嚴禁任何形式的抄襲，否則將取消參賽資格。

The photograph, in its entirety, must be a single work of original material taken by the entrant. Any kind of plagiarism is strictly prohibited and will lead to the disqualification of the participant.

作品不得（全部或部分）侵犯版權。如果在獲獎作品中發現侵犯版權，主辦方可能會酌情取消該獎項。The work must not (in total or in part) infringe on a copyright. If a copyright infringement is discovered in the winning entry, the award may be cancelled at the organizer’s discretion.

參賽作品不得以任何形式公開過，亦不得重複投稿。

Entries must never have been made public previously in any form, nor can they be submitted simultaneously to any other competition.

得獎作品版權歸元培醫事科技大學所有。

不能使用修圖軟體

The photo must be in its original state and cannot be altered in any way, including but not limited to removing, adding, reversing, or distorting subjects within the frame.

如果您的照片不符合上述標准文件格式，則可能不會考慮評估。

If your photo does not follow the above standard file format, it may not be taken into consideration for evaluation.

活動期程 Event schedule:

繳件日期：即日起至2021年10月25日。

Submission deadline: October 25th (Mon), 2021 at 3:00pm.

公告得獎作品：2021年11月8日

List of winners to be announced on November 8th(Mon), 2021.

得獎作品展覽：2021年11月18日至11月30日；展覽地點為元培醫事科技大學影像醫學博物館。

Exhibition of works expected to be held from November 18th (Thu) to November 30th (Tue), 2021.

報名及繳件方式 Entry and submission:

填寫google表單進行報名。

前往本競賽網址，上傳作品及授權同意書。

To participate, please register via the google document as shown in the webpage. Complete an authorization statement and submit it along with your work online.

獎勵：獎金及獎狀一紙。

Awards : Prize and certificate

金牌獎取1名，獎金180元美金
銀牌獎取3名，獎金110元美金
銅牌獎取6名，獎金70元美金
優等獎取9名，獎金35元美金

After the competition, the judges will select the top 10, one for Gold prize, three for Silver prize and 6 for Bronze prize, and 9 outstanding works.

Gold prize—one person gets US$180 or an equivalent prize and a certificate of award.

Silver prize—each person gets US$110 or an equivalent prize and a certificate of award.

Bronze prize—each person gets US$70 or an equivalent prize and a certificate of award.

Outstanding prize—each person gets US$35 or an equivalent prize and a certificate of award.

* 若獲獎同學為海外人士，獎金將扣除所得稅、匯差及手續費後匯出。If prize winner is not of ROC nationality, income tax, difference in exchange rates and handling fee will be subtracted before being transferred.)

* 評審可決定獎項從缺或不足額錄取。

Judges may, in their professional opinion, decide that a prize shall not be given or that there were insufficient qualified entries.

* 得獎作品將會印製展覽，展覽結束後將會寄回給得獎者。

Exhibition of award winning works will be held between November 18th, 2021 to November 30th, 2021. Works will be returned to the winners after the exhibition.

其他事項

參賽作品概不退件，經評選出之得獎作品，主辦單位擁有典藏、展覽、出版等權利，且不另支付酬勞或權利金，不得異議。

Contest entries will not be returned. The contest organizer retains storage, display, publication, and other rights to the awarded finalist works, and no additional payment or royalties will be given; this shall not be subject to dispute.

報名參賽即表遵守評選規則及主辦單位評選結果，不得異議。Submitting a contest entry shall be deemed to constitute acceptance of the evaluation rules and contest organizer’s final evaluations; this shall not be subject to dispute.

主辦單位保有最終修改、變更、活動解釋及取消活動之權利。

The contest organizer reserves the rights to modify, alter, interpret, and cancel the event.
