2021 Posterheroes

What is Posterheroes?

Posterheroes is an international contest about social communication that calls for posters ( 70×100 cm ) about social and environmental issues.

Every year, Posterheroes invites students, professional designers, and everyone who is into graphic design to create a poster about topics of social interest. All the works are judged by a selection panel composed by some of the most relevant experts of the graphic design and visual communication field.

WHAT’S NEW?

For the 10th edition of Posterheroes we propose: Digital Inclusion, Becoming e-Quals.
Posterheroes invites the creative international community to create a poster representing digital equality. Together, we’re Becoming E-quals.

Posterheroes 10° is again in collaboration with the ITC-ILO.

PRIZE

YOU HAVE THE CHANCE TO WIN A CASH PRIZE ( 2.500 € FOR THE FIRST NOMINATED ), TAKE PART IN MANY EXHIBITIONS AND EVENTS AND BE FEATURED IN POSTERHEROES PUBLICATIONS AND EDITORIAL PROJECTS!

SUBMISSION

From 21st May it will be possible to register and send proposals.
Until the end of the competition ( 25th June ) it will be possible to modify the posters uploaded from your reserved area.

Posterheroes is an international contest about social design and social communication asking the international creative community to express powerful messages through a poster 70×100 cm about social and environmental issues. The contest, created in 2010 by PLUG association, , is open to everyone and aims to involve young people and International artists in a particular way.

10863 posters were sent in these years, from more than 100 different nations. The winning posters are selected by a selection panel comprising international experts in the field of illustration, animation, arts, visual communication ( 55 members so far ).

PLUG communicates the results through different initiatives. Two catalogues, made with the support of Favini, three calendars and several public exhibitions have been realized to promote the value of the winning posters and to disseminate their messages. Open spaces, art galleries, public areas: the opinion of the young creatives is shared and discussed widely.

Together, we’re Becoming E-quals. You have the chance to win a cash prize ( 2.500€ for the first nominated ), take part in many exhibitions and events and be featured in Posterheroes publications and editorial projects!
