Language of use: English

Eligibility

1. All people, irrespective of nationality and age, in school or all walks of social life are welcome.
2. Participant(s) can join Mobileheroes 2022 as an individual or company/ team (up to 5 people), but only one entry can be submitted.
3. A higher score will be given if the work is better developed and entails higher feasibility of commercialization in Taiwan.

Mentor Hours

Exclusive resources for short-listers to advance product/ solution development:
Between August – September 2022, short-listers will have access to

1. Leverage sponsor resources for product/ solution development.
2. Join mentors from industry to role-play private board of directors and to fine-tune business plan.
3. Enjoy networking opportunities and more.

• Online Registration
  Now – 12:00, 30th June 2022 (UTC+8)

• Live Demo and Awarding Day

Registration document submission specifications (Mandatory)

• Proposal
  1. 5 page PDF (A4 size, front and end covers, and outline page not included)
  2. Please put your registration number (you will receive one after you sign up on our website) and your team name as your file name when you upload. (ex. C200001+ Alpha.pdf)
  3. Make sure to explain your product/solutions’ innovativeness, technology readiness, business potential, plans for sustainable development and how wireless communications is important in your proposal.
• Video demonstration
  1. Within 3 minutes, please provide the link after you upload to any digital video platform (YouTube, vimeo…etc.)
  2. 1080p resolution is recommended for better viewing quality.
  3. Make sure to have a clear audio

Criteria for short-list selection

Innovativeness (20%)

1. Does this product/ solution solve or improve an existing problem?
2. Are there similar products/ solutions available in the market?

Technology readiness (30%)

1. Is the proposal currently achievable?
2. Does the team have the relevant technology expertise and knowledge to develop this product/ solution?

Business Potential (30%)

1. Does this product/ solution have enough market relevance and business potential for future growth?

Sustainable development (20%)

1. Could this product/ solution enable sustainable development in smart cities?

A higher score will be given if the work is better developed and entails higher feasibility of commercialization in Taiwan.

Mobileheroes 通訊大賽

為使通訊產業導入創意與人才活水，經濟部工業局於2002年起開始辦理 Mobileheroes 通訊大賽，目的在於放眼未來，將校園及社群能量導入通訊產業，吸引優秀青年投入創新產業研發設計工作，近年更已從校園競賽茁壯為產業競賽。

通訊大賽逐年根據產業發展脈動訂定競賽主題，獎金、評審、業師等均來自產業界，並邀請業界先進與優秀參賽者互動交流，以期通訊大賽產出的作品可進一步接軌業界實際需求。舉辦21年至今，通訊大賽已為產業發掘超過萬名結合硬體、軟體、服務能量的跨界人才與創意。
