FLOATING HOUSE ARCHITECTURE COMPETITION
競賽基地位於墨西哥尤卡坦半島北部霍爾博克斯島( Isla Holbox )海岸上,其擁有優沃的自然條件:海灘,大海,紅樹林和不斷增長的遊客。
競賽需要設計一個概念化的漂浮房子原型,單個面積限定在40平米內( 包括平台 ),一至兩層,限高7米,要求功能獨立( 含臥、衛浴等空間 ),並且可以形成一組10單元的系列。房子將作為遊客的住宿別墅使用。

INTERNATIONAL JURY
Peter Zumthor. Pritzker winner
Swiss Architect, winner of the Pritzker in 2009, the highest award that an architect can receive worldwide. He studied architecture in Basel and at the Pratt Institute in New York. He is a cabinetmaker, designer and architect. In his works a timelessness, a rigorous craftsmanship, a strong spatial definition and a broad handling of the combination of light and dark can be appreciated.
Hayri Atak. Hayri Atak Studio
An architect, lecturer and teacher, Hayri Atak was born in Eskişehir, Turkey. He studied Architecture at the University of Auburn, USA, subsequently he has completed studies in Istanbul and Italy. He develops together with his studio, hotel and villa designs, interior design and prototyping, façade size molding and mass products. Introduces robotics in Architecture.
Jessica Gracia. Leed AP Gensler
Jessica is a Latin America LEED Design and Certification Advisor for Gensler, using sustainable planning, research and design strategies for innovative and healthy work environments. LEED Accredited, Jessica has been featured in multiple publications. In 2015, she was named one of the 10 “Inspiring Women” by the Costa Rican Chamber of Construction.
Cara MacArthur. HOK’ Angeles
Cara is an interior designer with more than 20 years of experience focused on the design of tourist spaces, as well as project leadership at any scale. As a leader in the HOK studio in Los Angeles, she is committed to excellence in design, sustainability, and the most advanced technologies.
Martin Gran. Snøhetta’ Director
Martin graduated from the University of Bergen, of Sociology, Psychology, Organization and Management, as well as the University of Oslo. Martin is Managing Director and Partner of Snøhetta, an award-winning international arch – studio based in Oslo and New York, which has grown into one of the largest firms with numerous projects in Europe, Asia, Oceania and the Americas.
Dara Huang. Design Haus Liberty
Dara, an American architect and designer, founded the architecture and design firm Design Haus Liberty in 2013 and is a co-founder of Vivahouse, which turns disused commercial properties into convivial spaces. Before establishing her own practice, Dara graduated from Harvard University with a Master of Architecture in 2007. She has received several awards
