SUPPORT HUMANIST AND ENVIRONMENTAL PHOTOGRAPHY
With the support of Sebastião Salgado, CCFD-Terre Solidaireis launching the first edition of the Prix Photo Terre Solidaire dedicated to humanist and environmental photography.
This commitment is symbolized by a 50,000€ shared cash-prizebetween three laureates.

OUR VISION
Our definition of Humanist and Environmental Photographyembraces the vision of CCFD-Terre Solidaire which acts for social and environmental issues.
This theme aims at depicting human beings at the very heart of their global environmentand values the people acting for a more sustainable and fairer world.
This prize has a triple dimension : torecognizethe career of a photographic artist, tosupportthe continuation of the dedicated work and to invitethe photographers to join the fights of CCFD-Terre Solidaire
REWARD THREE PHOTOGRAPHERS
For the laureate of Grand Prix Terre Solidaire :
- A cash prize of 30,000€ to pursue his or her personal photo project.
- An exhibition of this personal project in Festival Photo La Gacilly2024.
- A paid mission for a photo report about one of the international partners of CCFD-Terre Solidaire.
For the two laureates of Prix Terre Solidaire :
- A cash prize of 10,000€ each
- A paid mission for a photo report about one of the international partners of CCFD-Terre Solidaire.
- An exhibition of his or her photo report in many cultural places around the world
THE PRIX PHOTO TERRE SOLIDAIRE’S JURY
Under the patronage of Sebastião Salgado, the Prix Photo Terre Solidaire proposes a meeting of the world of commitment and photography.
A prestigious jury with professionals of photography, photojournalism and international solidarity will meet in mid-January 2023.

USEFUL INFORMATIONS ON THE PRIX PHOTO TERRE SOLIDAIRE
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE ?
Participation is open to all professional photographers regardless of age or nationality.
Applications will be open between October 3 and December 4, 2022.
The selected laureates will be chosen for their aesthetic vision, for their documentary work and for their intention to further their commitment to Humanist and Environmental Photography.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE ?
Candidates will have to submit their resume and their photographic project. It must consist of :
- A photo series of 15 to 30 pictures (begun or completed but being part of a long-term approach)
- A documentary synopsis introducing your project and how you want to pursue it (3 500 signs maximum).

TIMELINE
- October, 03 – December, 04 2022 : call for applications
- February 16, 2023 : award ceremony
For the laureate of Grand Prix Terre Solidaire :
- March – December, 2023 : Finalization of the personal photographic project
- Summer 2024 : exhibitions at the Photo Festival La Gacilly
For the two laureates of Prix Terre Solidaire :
- March – May 2023 : Realization of the photo report among the international partners of the CCFD-Terre Solidaire
- From fall 2023 : exhibitions of the two laureates in famous festivals worlwide
