ARE YOU A YOUNG CLIMATE DESIGNER?
APPLY TO WIN THE YOUNG CLIMATE PRIZE
The World Aroundis looking for young people who are working on their own self-started projects that address, draw attention to or mitigate climate change in their community. 25 under 25 will join The World Around Young Climate Prize Academy and win a mentorship with one of our internationally renown Design Champions. Three winners will be invited to New York City to present their work at The World Around’sprestigious annual Summit at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum.
The prize is free to enter. Just share a short video introducing yourself and your project.You must be 25 or under to apply. Applications are open until October 31, 2022 at 11:59PM EST.

WIN A MENTORSHIP FROM ONE OF OUR DESIGN CHAMPIONS
The Design Champions are a global community of some of the most impactful, preeminent individuals of our time – from leading architects, urbanists and designers to anthropologists, game designers and engineers. The World Around’s goal is to create and nurture a dialogue between generations and amplify the unique, radical and brilliant projects for climate resilience from the world’s brightest young minds.

The World Around Young Climate Prize academy of lectures, presentations and mentorship runs between January – March 2023. - STEP 5
THE WORLD AROUND SUMMIT 2023
The World Around’s annual summit will take place at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum on Earth Day 2023. A select group of the finalists will join us in New York to present their work.

WHO CAN APPLY?
Anyone aged 13-25 can submit their work. We encourage young people from anywhere in the world to share their projects. If English is not your first language you will be able to indicate this during the application process.
