The 24th International Bicycle Design Competition (IBDC) is opened for application starting from today! IBDC has been hosted by the Cycling & Health Tech Industry R&D Center (CHC) for more than two decades with the support and supervision by the Department of Industrial Technology, Ministry of Economic Affairs of R.O.C. (DOIT, MOEA). The purpose of IBDC is to establish a platform for creative concepts and designed work. With creative and innovative ideas and designs exchanged from designers all over the world, Taiwan is hoped to be the hub of the bicycle creative design field, and can keep creating new trends in the cycling industry. This year, the theme of competition is “Intelligence, Sustainability, and Living from Heart.” With these three values, IBDC hopes that more bicycles can be created with intelligent technology, sustainable ideas, and sensible design to provide people another option or style of transportation and living. If you have any fantastic ideas, do not hesitate to participate in this competition and share your ideas with everyone. The application of the 24th IBDC will be opened from July 1, 2021 to October 31, 2021.
