Dear friends, cartoonists, we are already half a century together!
Pleased that during our fifty-one-years of existence we have created a network of exceptional cartoonists – collaborators and friends of OSTEN, we are proud to announce the
52nd WORLD GALLERY OF CARTOONS Skopje 2020!
Read the TERMS AND CONDITIONS, fill in the APPLICATION FORM and send it to the e-mail cartoons@osten.com.mk along with the digital images of your cartoons, satirical drawings or comic-strips (preferable format .jpg .png .tif .eps in 300 dpi)
The cartoonists who will be short-listed by the selector will be asked to send their works (to be presented in front of the international jury) on our address: OSTEN – WORLD GALLERY OF CARTOONS, “8. Udarna Brigada” 2, 1000 Skopje, Macedonia
with the note: NO COMMERCIAL VALUE! FOR EXHIBITION ONLY!!! – up to 30th April 2020 latest!
True to our commitment to prevent and foster the art on paper, ORIGINAL, hand-drawn works are expected. If the cartoonist works exclusively in digital technique, printed DIGITAL WORKS named, numbered and signed in pencil on the front will be considered.
IMPORTANT DATES
30 April 2020 – Deadline for the works submission via e-mail
By 15 May 2020 – Announcement of the short-listed cartoonists
By 15 June 2020 – Sending the selected works via postal mail
July / August 2020 – Announcement of the awarded cartoonists
September 2020 – Opening of the exhibition and awards presentation
